Sometimes the English language can be confusing with words like read and read, I killed it, coral and corral, desert and dessert. Take this case of shingles:
A man walks into a doctor’s office and the receptionist asked him what he had.
“Shingles”, he said.
The receptionist asked him for his full name, address, and medical insurance number and then told him to take a seat.
Fifteen minutes later, a nurse’s aide came in and asked him what he had.
“Shingles”, he replied.
So she measured his height, weight, and blood pressure and gave him a medical history form to fill out.
Half an hour later, a nurse came in and asked him what he had.
So the nurse took his blood pressure, drew some blood for a blood test, and told him to get undressed and wait for the doctor.
Twenty minutes later, the doctor came in, saw him in the hospital gown, and asked him what he had.
“Where?”, asked the doctor.
“Outside on the truck. Where do you want me to unload ’em?
